“The Wild In Hand” – traditional illustration

A wild cat leaps from the underbrush into the “hands” of a domestic backyard.

The fingers come out of the ground and are made of the wooden Picket fence that lines the backyard.

This piece won an award in regionals in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition.

The Wild In Hand is the prequel to We Found Love Here (shown below).
