Warrior Cats: Berrynose – Sticks and Stones illustration

Illustration of a brown tail-less cat biting an adder as it wraps itself around the cat. The adder rears itself up to bite the cat in the face.

Based on the character Berrynose from the book series Warrior Cats written by Erin Hunter.

Berrynose’s partner died from an adder bite to the throat in the books, this filled Berrynose with a grave hatred for snakes.

Floating around Berrynose are bones from a cat’s neck. The title is a play on the phrase “sticks and stones can break my bones, but words cannot hurt me”.
