An accordian book made for my narrative illustration class. Inside the book talks about the depiction of anthro animal characters, sometimes referred to as “furries”.
“furries” characters get a bad rep because of people’s lack of knowledge about the furry fandom. Many people dislike such cartoony furry characters, but will turn around and adore anthro characters that look more realistic.
Both are technically furries, so if people can accept realistic two-leg walking animals then they can accept the same for cartoony two-leg walking animals.
