A falcon, duck, heron, kiwi bird, crow, and two other birds dance to jazz music. A tribal border encloses them.
Inspiration from the song “Wee B. Doin It” by Quincy Jones and the cover of the album that this song is on, Back on the Block.
This is apart of my Birdland series, an ongoing series of bird-centric illustrations based on jazz music and scores. Inspired by the Quincy Jones song “Past and present of Birdland”, of which is based on the Birdland jazz club and Charlie Parker. Whom the latter was nicknamed the “bird”.
